What every dance teacher needs to know

Teacher professional development is taught in a small group workshop (zoom):

2 day workshop intensive  or 6 weeks online covering:

  • stress response

  • nervous system regulation techniques

  • multifaceted approach to flexibility (breath, mind/body connection, nervous system regulation, hydration, fascia)

  • must know anatomy and safe dance knowledge (proprioception, attachment points, sacroiliac joints, muscles vs ligaments, alignment, stretch response)​

  • research backed exercises for faster student progression

  • creating warm-up/conditioning sequences for focus areas of the body/skill set  

  • scaffolding and differentiation for students (use of props) to include variations of intensity/progression

  • breath and it's impact on the body
